Goodbye to 2009: Not a new beginning, but more like a different ending!

"An 'Out of the Box' Approach"

So I had been wondering what in the world I was going to name this blog for the longest! It usually takes forever and a day for me to come up with a name, but I decided to just name it how I feel! I just want a better ending, better than the direction I am headed! Many may not know, but 2009 was an incredibly crazy for me! There were so many ups and downs, days that I will never want to relive again, and days that I will love and remember for the rest of my life!

Finally writing my second blog right before the year ends does seem a little out of the box, but that is going to be one of, if not, my motto for the year 2010! "Out of the Box!" For the remainder of this year and definitely next year, I am going to be completely

OUT OF THE FREAKIN' BOX!!

(Not that I already am not! l0l) I plan on thinking out of the box, dressing out of the box, producing out of the box type of work, etc! (That work can include an collection of apparel, or an essay I am writing for my English class!) Putting my life one step ahead of me is my ultimate goal, and tripping will only be "tripping," which will NEVER lead to falling!

Why start developing and practicing a new mindset before the year is over? Well I believe that this is the best way for me to produce my desirable results! I don't know about you, but once I decide I want to do something, I need to begin the plan right away or it will not happen! Setting a date to begin the process for making a "change"or achieving a certain goal only leads to procrastination, then just flat out not happening!

My thoughts for you would be to do the same! Think about what it is you would like to alter and change for the better in your personal life, or others around you!

"Be the change that you want to see in the world."

Now maybe being so out of the box may not be your thing, totally understandable, but set goals for yourself that you would love to accomplish now, in the near future, or years from now. If you don't know where you are going, you will end up somewhere else. Setting goals makes life so much richer and valuable! I guarantee you that you will look forward to getting up every morning!

In the meantime, I will definitely be doing me and posting many more blogs more often! Some may be funny, sad, or absolutely ridicK-YOU-LOUS! haha

Welcome to my world little lovers!!!

Live hard, love hard, and party even harder! =)

FASHION POLICE!

Well I must say that this is the very 1st blog I have done EVER! I am going to do my best to make it a very helpful, and interesting. I named this "Fashion Police" because I am SO SICK of seeing so many people ATTEMPTing to look fashionable! I totally understand that everyone has their own sense of style, but when I am telling YOU how you could better your own style; that is a problem. Enough with the small talk...allow me to begin!

Top 5 Ways to develop a Unique, Fashionable style:

1.) DO NOT BE A NAME BRAND WHORE!
-Yes brands such as, Juicy, Chanel, Coach, etc, are all wonderful and everything, but for FASHION SAKES, give it a rest. Trust me, I could put together a outrageously, sick outfit by shopping at the thrift store! Do not believe me? HA..been there, done that for your eyes to see!

2.) MATCHING!
-WHO MATCHES ANYMORE? Come on, even my mother knows that matching is so not in! Whenever you go shopping, make sure that you but something that DOES NOT COMPLETELY MATCH YOUR OUTFIT! Make sure it compliments the colors in your outfit.

3.) BUY CLOTHES THAT FIT!
-I see young men and women constantly buying clothes that they have NO BUSINESS wearing! I am talking big and small! Just because you may be of a bigger or smaller structure does not mean that you have to buy clothes that YOU think will flatter your figure! EVERYONE, and I mean every single person on the face of this earth does not look good in every single thing that they try on. It is up to you to determine what is a nice, stylish fit that will respectfully compliment your beautiful figure!

4.) ENOUGH WITH THE 80's LOOK!
-I understand that bright colors and "retro" glasses are now in, FINE! I loved the 80's and even have a few 80's glasses of my own that I wear, but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Why don't we try to mix in some modern looks with the past 80's look? I understand that history has a way of repeating itself, but where do we plan on going if we are CONSTANTLY living in the past?

5.) SHOW 'EM WHATCHA WORKIN' WIT!
-Once you have developed a style of your own, WEAR THE HECK OUT OF IT! I know many people who have a really decent style, but do not wear correctly, simply because they lack confidence. If you know that you are not walking around the face of this earth looking a hot mess, then WHO GIVES A DARN WHAT PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY! If everyone walked around looking like everyone, imagine what this world would be like!

I do plan to add more to this list as they come to mind, but I thought I'd start off with a few since I have some down time! As you know, I am a lover of fashion and I express that through every single thing that I do. I hope I have benefited you in some positive way and feel free to comment on this blog! I still haven't become too familiar with this blog thing, so excuse me if I make any errors!

Well off to lay down to get over this stomach flu! (Dad, hurry with this the juice!)

=) Tah Tah for now!
